What I got for Christmas!

I love reading posts and seeing photos of what everyone got for Christmas so I thought i'd share some of the lovely things I got for Christmas this year:
My family all know i'm a massive lover of Soap & Glory and I always get given a load of their stuff every year. Mostly the Hand Food as that's my ultimate fave, aswell as the bubble bath and shower gels. I also got the 'endless Glove' Hand cream this year, which I've never tried before so i'm looking forward to using that!

I actually really love getting those 'staple' items of clothing for Christmas, like underwear and socks! I also got some Christmas pudding leggings (which i'll most likely be using as pyjamas because they're so comfy and warm!)
I also received this super cool 'Central perk' T-shirt and a cute little dog patterned scarf .
The Book Thief is one of my favourite books, but when I read it a couple of years ago, I borrowed it off my friend and never actually had my own copy; until said friend bought it me for Christmas this year! And it's the original cover and not the film one which is even better.

This Lynx shower gel and deodorant set I got last year aswell and absolutely raved about it, so my Mum repurchased it for me this year. The smell of the shower gel is just lovely and you can smell it on you for most of the day!
Another present I got that smells a-mazing is this cute Little Miss Naughty gift set. The eau de toilette has such a lovely sweet fruity scent, and I think would actually be really nice to use in the coming spring.

I've been after a larger make-up bag for a while now, as the one I have is just too small and I end up taking two with me whenever I travel or stay anywhere, but this one is a lot bigger and will make my life a hell of a lot easier!

And lastly: Chocolate! I got waaay more that I could be bothered to photograph, but these are a few of my favourites. I got a huge tin of shortbread aswell and some Belgian seashells.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas! :) x

Day 22: Gel Colour Nail Paint

Day 23: Brown Amazing Eyes Pencil

Day 24: Protect & Perfect Night Cream

Day 25: Stay Perfect Duo Nail colour

I have loved having a beauty advent calendar this year, and it's made the built up to Christmas that little bit more exciting! (and who doesn't love having mini sized treats?!)
My favourite things are probably the lip crayons, mascaras, and the hand cream. I reckon I'll get a load of use out of them and they're so handy to just pop in your bag!

Christmas nails! No7 Gel Look

My favourite thing to do on Christmas Eve is paint my nails ready for the big day!
This year I've chosen two shades in my No7 advent calendar.
One is the Gel-Look high shine in shade 'Deep Wine'
And the other is the nail effect varnish 'Disco Ball'

I'm really loving the colour of the Deep Wine, and I think it's such a lovely wintery tone. And it doesn't lie when it says High shine! Probably the shiniest my nails have ever been!
And I thought id add a touch of the silver onto one nail, because it's not Christmas without a bit of glitter!

I'm yet to see what the staying power will be like, but I've used No7 nail paints before and have always been impressed with how long they last.

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas! :) x

My Birthday Presents!

So it was my 24th birthday on Friday (-sob i'm getting old!) and I got some lovely presents from my pals and family, so I thought i'd share some of the things I got :)

My amazing boyfriend got my this wonderful Ukulele. I've been wanting to learn to play for a while and with 2015 just around the corner, that's a new years resolution waiting to happen!
He also got me an illustrated novel about the life of Vincent Van Gogh which I'm so excited to read.

My best pal got me the most beautiful copy of The Wizard of Oz, along with a raspberry tea bag style bath bomb!

Sarah Millican is one of my favourite comedians, and I was so happy to get her latest DVD. As well as a cute little silver owl necklace.

Some more of my favourite presents are a moustache shaped nail file! And a colour changing umbrella!

I also got some Christmas earrings (Standard! I get at least one pair every year!) And a lovely button shaped ceramic trinket box.

My Favourite Christmas Films!

Christmas is by far my favourite time of year! And I always look forward to spending the whole of December tucked up in bed watching festive films!

My favourite of all time is Miracle on 34th Street. I just can't even explain how much I love it and I always always have to watch it on Christmas Eve. Although with the recent sad passing of Richard Attenborough, I'm not sure how I'm going to feel watching it this year. He will always be my Santa.

Love Actually is just hilarious, lovely, and charming all in one. It has me howling with laughter and crying with happiness all the way through! Such a feel good film that's on my 'I have to watch this every year' list.

The next three are my top films from my childhood; Home alone, A Muppets Christmas Carol and The Grinch are just classics in my eyes. Just pure silliness is what makes Home Alone and The Grinch so good, and The Muppets crossed with A Christmas Carol? Need I say more? Just the ultimate combination right there.

There's also Elf. A new favourite of mine, that I fell in love with upon the first watch.

I'd also like to mention a couple of my favourite Christmas Episodes from TV shows.

Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire is one that always stands out to me, and is just so brilliant! Probably one of my favourite Simpsons episodes of all time actually!

And there's the Friends special, The one with the Holiday Armidillo.
Never ever fails to make me laugh!

25 Days of Beauty: Week 2

Day 8: Beautiful Skin, radiance exfoliator

Day 9: Day Cream

Day 10: Blissful Body wash

Day 11: Eye Make-up remover

Day 12: Felt tip eyeliner

Day 13: High Shine Lip Crayon

Day 14: Moisturising Body Lotion

After last week being more make-up orientated, this week has included a lot more skin care products which was nice.
I think my favourite of this week is probably the eye makeup remover and I'm really looking forward to using the exfoliating cream aswell!
