The Christmas Tag!

Basically, I just bloody love Christmas. As soon as September hits im in Christmas mode! So I'm spreading the festive cheer with this tag!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

Miracle on 34th Street. Without a doubt. I have loved that film since I was about 10. My other favourites that I love to watch every year are Love Actually, Elf, Home Alone and The Muppets Christmas Carol.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Always Christmas morning! My mum always wakes up earlier than me and sits there until I wake up so we can open our presents together :)

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I don't really have a specific memory from my childhood as all my Christmases were pretty awesome and I was always spoilt rotten! But something that really sticks out was from last years Christmas; my sister had left some carrot out for Rudolph and had bitten a part off to make it look like he'd eaten some ;) I showed my nephew and his face was an absolute picture of joy! Like he was really truly astonished and it just makes me so happy that something so little can bring so much joy to a child.

4. Favourite Festive Food?
Obviously the Turkey dinner! Literally My favourite meal ever. Also that crappy chocolate you get in kids advent calendars? Strangely I really love it! As well as mulled wine (I know it's not food but it's close enough. And damn it's tasty!)

5. Favourite gift?
I've had so many great gifts, but The one that stands out is probably my first CD player and the first S Club 7 album! I literally spend all my time in my room listening to it!
I also love that every year my Mums buys be a box of Belgian chocolate seashells and in turn I buy her Thorntons toffee!

6. Favourite Christmas Scent?
Cinnamon! And Apple spices. I love going to the Christmas markets in Manchester; all the different foods and spices smell absolutely divine!

7/ Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Every year I always go to my sisters and help prepare the Christmas dinner. We spend the whole day peeling potatoes and chopping veg while listening to Christmas songs. We'll then sit down and watch the Muppets Christmas Carol and I'll go home and help my mum put out (and eat!) all the Christmas chocolates!

8/ What tops your tree?
It used to be this little angel that always sat a bit wonky no matter how hard you tried to perch it right! But we redecorated a couple of years ago and now we have abut glittery star that still sits a bit wonky!

9/ As a kid what was one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
With risk of sounding a little spoilt...I always got what I asked for! Although Ive never asked for anything wildly expensive, even as a child I was always conscious of asking for too much in fear of sounding greedy!

10/ What's the best part of Christmas for you?
Spending the entire day with my whole family. I'm quite lucky that my family get along so well and never really argue. And especially since my nephews were born, seeing the excitement on their faces opening all their presents is just the best thing.
Also the Doctor Who Christmas Special and endless days of Turkey sandwiches!

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas, and let me know if you do this tag! I love reading everyone else's answers!

The Me Time Tag!

I found this tag on the lovely blog 'Tania Michele' and decided to give it a go while I have some spare time!

What do you watch or read during your me-time?
I catch up on all my favourite American TV shows; atm I'm really loving The Big Bang Theory, Once Upon a Time and Modern Family.

What do you wear during me-time? #NoBra
I usually just lounge around leggings and a t-shirt (or a hoodie when it's cold!) or my pyjamas.

What are your me-time beauty products?

I love the Simple face scrubs and moisturisers and eye cream. And i'm really enjoying the new Barry M eye shadow pallets atm, as well as the Soap and Glory archery eyebrow pen.

Current fave nail polish?
I don't really get to wear nail polish anymore because of my job, but on my toes I'm loving the matte Barry M autumn shades that were released last year. This is the perfect time of year to bring them back out!

What do you like to eat/drink during me-time?
I drink flavoured fizzy water, usually something with apple or peach, or tea. And with Christmas approaching I'm enjoying tucking into Terry's chocolate orange, Cadbury's fingers and satsumas!

Current fave candle?
I don't have a favourite brand, but anything with a cinnamon scent is a winner with me!

Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
I have a fairly long train journey I take once a week, where I get to catch up on my reading or just chill with my iPod which is nice and relaxing.

Would you ever go see a movie alone?
I've sometime thought about it, but I'm yet to try it.

Fave online shop?
Ebay, Etsy, or Not on the High Street.

Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?
Sleep. I love sleeping! And I actually really enjoy cleaning up and making my space tidy and organised. And having a nice bath.

Seventeen Mirror Shine Lipstick

I think Seventeen are such an underated brand. Their products are great but I never hear anyone talk much about them

This lipstick is probably one of my all time favourites. It's permently in my bag and is my go-to staple that works well with everything!

This shade is 'Beehive' which is such a lovely shade and it's great for those days when you want a more subtle look.

It's so effortless for a lipstick too, it applies really easily and the 'mirror shine' gives it a little glossy feel which I love as I'm not a massive fan of matte lipsticks. And it makes my lips feel nice and hydrated and doesn't dry out at all.

The packaging is so cute aswell, and there's even a little mirror that pulls out! Super handy when you're on the go.

Boots 25 days of Beauty Treats

I've just received my Boots beauty advent calendar!
This is my first one and I'm so excited for December so I can open it! haven't looked at the contents at the back as I want it to be a surprise.
It's £35 and it's contents come to a whopping £130 so if you use No7 products a lot (which I do) then this is an absolute bargain.

I'm also thinking of getting the Yankee Candle advent calendar too, it just looks so lovely and it's only around £20 which is a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.
Has anyone else got any, Or wanting to get any? Which ones would you recommend?
