Another Boots Haul! (Maybelline, NYX, Barry M)

I recently took a trip to Boots and bought a few treats for myself!

These NYX butter gloss's are my new favourite lip products. I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss and don't own many, but these ones are such a nice consistency, and not sticky at all. They have a lovely buttery texture (hence the name butter gloss, I suppose!) and make my lips feel super hydrated.
These are shades Praline (left) and Peach Cobbler. The Praline is such a good nude shade, and I have been wearing it almost everyday since I bought it!

I've heard so many people talk about the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara's I just had to get this. This is the Luscious one, and I have only used it a couple of times, but so far i'm liking it a lot. You can really feel the oil blends, as it is such a lovely smooth texture and doesn't feel hard on your lashes. The only issue I've had is that i've found it quite hard to separate my lashes as the brush is very odd. But I just used another lash brush to combat this, and after that, my lashes looked great. It does create a lot of volume and really lengthens your lashes a lot!

Sticking with Maybelline, I also bought the blushed nudes palette. I've had my eye on this for quite a while and finally decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did. The shades are all shimmery and great colours for the summer! The only ones I wouldn't wear are the light pinks, as they don't suit me, but all the browns and gold shades are gorgeous. They are a decent pigment and last all day without smudging, and on the back there is a little handy guide of which shades fit well together in quads or trios which is nice.

The last things I purchased is two Barry M nail paints. I can't go into Boots without passing the Barry M stand; I've always been a huge fan of their nail paints. They're affordable, great quality and lasting. These two are from the new Coconut Infusions range and are such lovely colours that complement each other very well!

Latest in Beauty: The Soft Skin Box!

I'm a huge fan of the Latest in Beauty boxes, and i've bought quite a few in the past. The most recent one I got my hands on is the Soft Skin Box.

This one contains 9 products that are designed to give your skin a nice hydration boost!

The products inside are:
- Indeed Labs Hydraluron moisture boosting mask.
A face mask that slowly releases active ingredients into the skin, leaving it plump and hydrated for upto 24 hours.
- Anne Semonin Expres Radiance ice cube (4ml)
Used straight from the freezer, place on tired eyes and it will instantly reduce redness and tighten and lift the skin.

-Urban Veda Reviving Hydrating Toner (150ml)
Enriched with flower water and bio oils, it removes excess grime and dirt from the skin and improves elasticity.

-Philosophy Purity made simple 3-in-1 Cleanser (30ml)
This daily facial cleanser melts away make-up, cleanses pores and conditions the skin all in one.

-Studio 10 Miracle Effect Serum (2x 1ml saches)
Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and leaves skin hydrated as well as creating a smooth base for make-up.

- Exuviance Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish (10ml)
This buffing polish tackles dull skin using formula that contains exfoliating crystals and papaya enzymes and refines and promotes cell renewal.

- Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator (15ml)
This moisturiser gives your skin a healthy, youthful glow and makes even the driest skin look fresh and revived.

- Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm (15ml)
Used as a treatment for dry lips, rough or sore skin as well as cuts, grazes and dry cuticles. This multi-tasking balm is a handbag must have!

-Ren Moroccan Rose Body Lotion (50ml)
Made with rose otto oil, this deeply hydrating lotion will leave your skin feeling softer than ever.

So far, i've only tried the Toner, which I am loving! And the miracle balm, which I haven't been too impressed with. It's a very sticky and gloopy consistency which I had a lot of trouble squeezing out of the tube. In the end the tube popped from the pressure!

Although, I'm looking forward to using the Purity lotion as i've heard good things about it, and the face mask seems fab!

Boots Haul!

I recently took a long overdue trip to Boots and picked up a handful of beauty products. Here's what I bought:

I knew I needed some new foundation and decided to pick up two; The Loreal Paris Infallible 24-hr Matte foundation, and the Rimmel Stay Matte liquid foundation moose. I am always on the look out for good Matte foundations, as I work in a kitchen my face does get very hot and is prone to looking shiny, so I need something that will keep that under control.
After trying them for the past week, I can say I am in love with them both. The Loreal one is such a nice light consistency, but stays on all day and is pretty much full coverage. The only thing is that the shade is slightly too light for me, so next time i'll get the lighter one.
The Rimmel stay matte foundation, is similar to the BB cream, except it is in a mousse formula. It does feel quite heavy on the skin because of this, so i'm not sure i'll wear it so much in the height of summer but I love how it feels and glides nicely onto the skin.

I also picked up the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. This is just a great, affordable concealer that covers all my blemishes and it's one that I always go back to and buy again and again!

The next thing I spied is the Loreal Colour Riche Liptick, in shade J Lo's Barely Greige. This is such a gorgeous nude shade, and is super moisturising and soft on the lips. These are a limited edition collection, so grab them while you can!

For my brows, I picked up two products: The Maybelline Brow Drama Crayon, and the Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow.
The Maybelline Brow Crayon is prefect for if you're travelling or on the go, as it is so small. It's really pigmented aswell, i've found that I don't need to press hard at all to get the look I want so it will definitely last a long time.
The Soap & Glory Archery, however is the complete opposite. I do like it a lot, but it takes a lot of effort and hard-pressing of the sculpting crayon to get a decent amount of colour. I fear that it will run out very quickly, so I'm not sure it's worth the money? Although, I do love the setting liquid as it keeps my brows in place all day.

I've always been a fan of Rimmel Mascara's, and I saw this one that i'd never tried before. It's the Super Curler mascara. What I love about it is the wand is shaped to fit with your lashes, so the curl will hold for longer. It makes my lashes look super volumised and is a good formula, not gloopy at all.

The last thing I picked up is the Barry M Mani Mask nail paint. It is designed to strengthen and treat damaged nails which I love. The colour is just a nice natural pink shade and has a matte finish.
