April Glossybox!

This month's Glossybox was designed to pay homage to beauty royalty; like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn.

I got the mint colour box, and on the inside of the lid was a lovely Marilyn Monroe quote.

The box contains:
- Lord & Berry lipstick pencil- shade 'kiss'
This is by far my favourite of the box, the shade is a slightly coral tone which is perfect for my skin tone and one I'm always drawn to!

-Astral Original Face and Body moisturiser.
This has been around for so long and is an absolute classic item. It's super thick formula is great for dry skin and apparently it can be used to remove makeup too so I'll have to give that a try.

-POP Beauty Eyeliner pencil
This I'm not too fussed about, I'm not a massive fan of black eyeliner as a rule and I don't tend to wear the smokey eye look as I don't think it suits me! So I think I'll probably pass this on to someone I know will get good use out of it.

-Colour Club nail polish 'barely there'
Nude nails are such a key trend this season and I for one am loving it! This is a lovely shade and I think would look quite good with a matte top coat?

-IDC body lotion
I got the 'country rose' scent which I was quite pleased about as I definitely wouldn't have like to get the lavender. I wouldn't normally pick this type of body lotion but I'm willing to give it a try!

My empties!

I thought i'd do a quick post on all the things that i've used up from the last few months!

Max Factor: FaceFinity 3-in-one Foundation. I think this is probably my favourite foundation as it's a Primer, concealer and foundation all in one. It really evens out my face and lasts all day. It usually retails at around £12.99, but can go down to about £8/9 when special offers are on so I always look out for them!

Boot:s Simply Sensitive Gently Refreshing Toner. This is such a bargain and it feels so cool and refreshing on my skin, I especially love using it in the morning, it really helps wake me up!

Nivea: Pearl & Beauty Antiperspirant: I wrote about this in my February Favourites so feel free to go check that out!

Soap & Glory: Hand Food: By far, my favourite hand cream of all time. I just can't even explain how much I love it!

Collection Colour Lash Mascara: This has been a good cheap little mascara that i've been using for when i'm at work. It's a decent formula for the price and it's great if you just want a natural look.

Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Precision Shaping Pencil: Without a doubt, i'll deffo be repurchasing this. I love how good and refined it makes my eyebrows look.

Rimmel BB Cream Matte: I have already bought a replacement of this, it's prefect for days where I don't want my face to feel too heavy, but the coverage is still pretty good for a BB Cream.

No7 Protect and Perfect Hand Cream & Norwegian Formula Concentrated Hand Cream:
These hand creams, (as well as the Soap & Glory one) I have been using in work. I go through mini hand creams so quicky, and they are super handy to just have in my pocket. The Concentrated one is great if you have really dry skin and you only need a tiny bit so it lasts for ages aswell!

Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo: I just bought this because it was on offer (like I generally do with shampoo!) but I adore the smell of it.I'm not sure if the 'strengthening' element of it actually worked, but if any herbal essences shampoo was on offer again I think this is the one I'd go to.

Rimmel Clear Complexion Pressed Powder: This is the best value for money powder i've come across. I have been using this for the past couple of years now, and don't intend on stopping any time soon.

I've loved using all of these products, and will most likely repurchase most of them. Let me know if you've used them too and what you think!

The Drugstore Make-Up Tag!

I haven't done a tag post in a while and I have a spare few minutes so I thought why not!
I got this from the lovely Queen of Nonsense's blog.

1. What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand overall?
At the moment I'm really loving a lot of Rimmel London products, I don't think there's one thing I've used from them that I've not liked.

2. What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?

My favourite face product is the Rimmel Wake me up foudation. It gives my face a lovely glow. As well as their Matte BB Cream.
The Seventeen Heavy duty Under eye concealer has been a staple in my make up routine recently, as well as the Seventeen contour Kit.
My favourite Lip Product atm is the Barry M Genie lipstick. I love that it blends with my skint tone to create a shade that just suited to me!

3.Least favourite product?
Probably the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer. I had such high expectations for these when they first came out but I really didn't like the way they sit on my lips at all and was so disappointed.

4.What is your best makeup bargain?
Deffo the Rimmel Clear Complexion Clarifying powder. It's super cheap and lasts for absolutely ages.

5.What is your favourite underdog product? (something you love that often gets overlooked)
The Seventeen Mirrorshine Lipsticks. I never hear them being talked about but I love them, they're really moisturising on the lips and have such good staying power.

6.A drugstore product that is overpriced?
The Real Techniques Brushes (or any brand for that matter!) I'm sorry but I just can't justify spending £10 or so on one brush!

7.Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?
I'm not sure really, I'd say the Barry M Gelly Shine lip crayons, just because although the shades are nice they don't last very long at all and can be quite sticky?

Let me know if any of you do this tag too,  I'd love to read all your answers!

March Favourites!

Not as many in my favourites this month, as I've still been loving most of the same things from my February faves!
But here's a few bits I've been liking this month:

First is the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation.
I've been working more early shifts and between that and moving house I've been feeling rather tired, and this foundation has been a God send! It helps make me look half awake in the morning and I really love how lightweight it feels as well as the coverage being really good.

Second is the Morrisons Vitamin E 3 in 1 facial wipes.
I never shop in Morrisons, but we popped in once just to have a change and I picked these up because they were only £1, and they turned out to be probably some of the best wipes I've used! They feel so soft and refreshing on the skin and smell really nice too.

Next up is the Soap & Glory 'Clean on Me' shower gel. I'm a big lover of Soap & Glory anyway and I got a few of these little travel sized bottles for Christmas. It's got a really nice texture and leaves my skin feeling super silky.

I've also been loving the Collection Lengthening Mascara which I got in my Latest in Beauty Box a couple of weeks ago. I always love Collection mascara to use as an everyday mascara and my other one has run out so this has taken it's place! It seperates my lashes so well and doesn't clump at all.

Lastly, I've been addicted to Pretty Little Liars. I know I'm super late to the party! I started watching it late February and I'm half was through season 4 now. I'm just trying to avoid any spoilers which is SO hard.
